The first organized activity will be the Reception planned for Thursday evening, September
24, 2009 at the American Heritage Library and Museum. Because many attendees will be traveling a great distance, and due to the unique attraction to the Los Angeles area for additional touring, it is anticipated some attendees will arrive
one or more days early to enjoy a few extra days in Southern California.
An optional pre-Triennial activity, the “White House Luncheon and Tour”, is planned on Thursday, during the day, at the
Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Participants will depart
from the hotel at 10:45 am and return about 5:00 pm. Attendees will travel the 40 mile distance by
motor coach. Cost is projected at $90/person including transportation, lunch,
museum admission and docent-led tour.
This program provides an upscale tour experience. It includes a docent-led tour of the Library’s Museum and grounds,
including Air Force One, followed by a unique and delightful lunch. The White House Lunch comes complete with linen and china service, fresh flowers on the tables, and professional wait staff.
The Triennial Meeting will open with a reception occurring Thursday evening, 6-7:30pm, staged at the American Heritage Library and Museum (aka Sons of the Revolution Library).
